IN THE UNWOUNDING VAST
by jnrJacinto
Into the dingle of darkness
A man's heart goes
It journeys quivering
Because of anguish unconfessed.
For when his spirit
Was still hovering above
It asked for kindness
But was handed the cup of gall.
And now that he"s coming back
To the womb of his mother
In lieu of the droop
Inflicted by God's beings
He hopes to find the scintillation of beauty
That will smite the last anguish
And back to where he came
He'll find solace there.
